Tokyo ON is produced exclusively for Maction Planet.
Maction Planet has been operating through word of mouth since 2006. In 2017, encouraged and persuaded by our guests, we launched our website with the goal of helping even more people experience the delights that Tokyo and Japan have to offer.
Everything we do at Maction Planet is inspired by Tokyo, the World’s Greatest Metropolis. There are four main outlets for this inspiration:
Maction Planet Travel
The main way we share our love of Tokyo with the world is through our bespoke tours and experiences.
We can arrange anything, from multi-day tours of Tokyo and beyond to experiences such as unique tea ceremonies, craft beer tours, a fun evening at the baseball, or sake and shochu tastings.
Everything is fully customised to create your perfect, personalized time in The World’s Greatest Metropolis.
We are honoured to be highly evaluated by our guests, and have 100% 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor.

Maction Planet Apparel
Maction Planet Apparel designs unique T-shirts inspired by Tokyo, the city we love. We work with world-renowned artists and designers, such as Livio Ramondelli, Matt Frank and Marika. We have also collaborated with top Tokyo brands such as Ramen Adventures and Shochu.Pro.
Maction Planet Blog
Our blog presents anything and everything to do with Tokyo. In the past, we have addressed subjects such as the origins of the names ‘Edo’ and ‘Tokyo’, introduced 10 of Tokyo’s oddest museums and spotlighted the history of Kakigori. We have connected a Japanese proverb with an obscure insane avant-electropop underground duo from the 80s and exposed what the Tokyo locals are doing. Our highly-popular “Mac on Tokyo” interviews bring you the characters which shape The World’s Greatest Metropolis.
We also tackle the important questions, like “Where do Pikachus go when they finish dancing?”
Maction Planet Radio
Maction Planet Radio was launched to bring the sounds of The World’s Greatest Metropolis to listeners around the world.
Our flagship show is Tokyo ON, hosted by Maction Planet’s Resident DJ Royce Leong, with frequent guest appearances by Mac, Founder and Lead Guide of Maction Planet. Together, they spin tunes from a diverse range of Japanese artists, embellished with entertaining cultural commentary.
